About Steve Chalken – Sports Injury Specialist
I am a sport enthusiast and enjoy playing, as well as following, a variety of sports. In my youth, I played football at a high standard for Gillingham and Sittingbourne football clubs. I then found my passion of running enjoying the aspect of individual training. I have completed five marathons including Amsterdam, London and Paris. I have also completed many half marathons and I run for Paddock Wood Athletic Club.
Competing at a good amateur level, I realise the importance in achieving goals and avoiding injuries.
This was the main reason I decided on my career path; to help others.
I offer a portable service to client’s houses in Kent. I also work from my clinics in Wrotham and home clinic in Marden.
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and I am fully insured. This gives you reassurance that I have the recognised skills and qualifications to provide a quality service to you.
Sports massage will also relieve pains and imbalances, which helps with the healing process of the muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue after injury or overuse. It also works well alongside other therapies such as Physiotherapy and Osteopathy. Steve has been a sports massage therapist for 15 years and having studied in great detail with a number of completed courses and a degree, you know you are in good hands.
